The story of Don Bradman's visit to Blackheath, a town in the Blue Mountains of NSW, playing for a Blackheath XII against a side from nearby Lithgow. Bradman scored 256 in very quick time, at one point making 100 runs in just three overs. The book relates the background to the match, which also included Wendell Bill, who played 35 times for NSW at first-class level, and to whom the publication is dedicated. In overall Fair+ condition: some edgewear to covers; a date written a tad untidily on the first (otherwise blank) page; some creasing at bottom open corner on first 10 pages or so; one or two light marks internally.
