Clean jacket is not price clipped (2.00 on front inside flap), has very small chips at top spine corners, a little wear to dustjacket paper at two corner tips. Enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. A story about two great dogs and a boy who loved and worked with them both. Valor, a magnificent shepherd K-9 dog that was his comrade-in-arms, had saved Lt. Thomas Tolbert's life with her own in the Pacific. And it was Valor's puppy, Joey, that comforted Tom during the long days in the hospital afterward. Back home in the States, Tom learned that he was blinded for life.
