The two long walls contain open shelves holding over 1500 books and over 350 VHS videos, plus DVDs, CDs, audio tapes and vinyl records, plus a selection of special issues of newspapers and magazines. The books include adult fiction , especially The Scarlet Pimpernel, Richard Bolitho, The Saint, Modesty Blaise, Jack Reacher and Kay Scarpetta; childrens' books, especially the Discworld series by Pratchett; and nonfiction, especially space travel, jazz and big band swing.
