82 pages : illustrations (chiefly colour) ; 27 cm. Summary:"Rice's work of the Sixties forms a kind of object lesson, of a young painter forging his own distinctive artistic identity within the modes of abstraction available to him over the course of that crucial decade. As is clearly evident here, the resuts of that trajectory make a compelling case for the importance of his contribution to post-war British painting. It is now time to acknowledge and celebrate Rice's achievement."--Page 22. Notes: Published on the occasion of the exhibition held at the Redfern Gallery, London, [4 - 22 February 2014.] Published by the Redfern Gallery, in association with Conor Mullan.
