Original dark green gilt-blocked pictorial cloth with Peter Rabbit and gilt titling on front and spine. Book is tight, square, sharp-cornered and free of major flaws or markings inside and out other than minor water damage to cloth on covers and some red staining to end papers. Fantastic line drawings throughout by Charles Copeland and color frontispiece plate by same. Book is Good+ or perhaps VG. American naturalist William J. Long shares his philosophy of life, drawing inspiration from the natural world around us.
