Illustrated with seventy-one plates, three of which are in colour. Collated complete. A record of the British book-binding presented by Kenneth H. Oldaker to the Chapter Library of Westminster Abbey, housing the extensive historic collections of books and archival material belonging to the Dean and Chapter of Westminster. Written by Howard Millar Nixon, a British librarian and historian of bookbinding who was a librarian at the British Museum then Librarian of Westminster Abbey. In the original brown cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. Fine.
