A good hardback first edition in a full calf binding. All edges gilt. There is some quite noticeable rubbing to the joints on both the upper and lower covers, but the binding remains secure. There is also a bit of rubbing at the head and tail of the decorative spine. There is some foxing to the opening and closing leaves, and an old-looking initial at the top of the second front free endpaper. The majority of the attractive coloured plates are in nice condition, but there are some spots of foxing to some of them, which is mainly marginal. Overall, a good hardback first edition in a full calf binding which has some rubbing to the joints. Collated and complete. Seller Inventory # ABE-1716396249682
