Interior in nice clean condition with only very occasional foxing, no names nor inscriptions, About 600pp. Each year paginated separately with numerous plates not included in the pagination, any fold out plates still in original creases. The company was founded in Nov 1878 and these scientific reports cover the second eight years of trading. The company continued trading well into the 20th century under various guises, the head office Longridge House had to be demolished in 1997 after the IRA Manchester bombing severely damaged it.
