The colour of the red cloth-bound boards is strong, unfaded and even with no dents, scratches or bumps; the board edges are straight and the corners sharp. The text block is square and tightly bound and the edges are spotless. There is a previous resale price pencilled at the top of the ffep but no other marks or writing. The dust jacket has no tears or unwanted creases; the black and white photograph of the three main party leaders (Harold Wilson, Sir Alec Douglas-Home and Jo Grimond) is clear and well defined and the colours of the title lettering are also strong and clear. This is the sixth in the renowned series from the Nuffield College, Oxford - unsurpassed as a study of the background, main characters, events and results of the 1964 general election.
