First edition. 12mo. [6], 66pp., illustrated with a hand-colored aquatint frontispiece plate and woodcut title-page vignette. Contemporary quarter green cloth and drab paper boards. Mounted on the back pastedown is a printed slip titled: "Relics of Charles Lamb: Purchased at Edward Moxon s Sale" held in 1835. Following Lamb s death in December of 1834, Moxon sold his library for the benefit of his wife Mary. The boards are rubbed and darkened, small chip at fore-edge of front cover, lacking the back free endpaper, a few minor stains on the pastedowns and some light soiling, good or better. A notable copy with the oft-missing frontispiece clean and bright. Seller Inventory # 540902
