This illustrated book is brimming with detailed birth charts including symbols and planetary aspects of several prominent members of the Brontė family including Charlotte, Emily, Anne, and their ill-fated brother. Includes Patrick Brontė's chart as well as Ellen Nussey and others.
Charlotte Bronte would have been fascinated to know what her astrological aspects were since she was known to have an interest in the occult herself.
Condition: Brown boards with blind rules to front. Gilt lettering to spine. Head and tail slightly crushed but not torn. Slightly bent corners. Dyed top to text block. Some foxing to text block edges. Some foxing and age toning to FEP and prelims and first few pages. Title page has a small purple stamp stating, 'With the Publisher's Compliments'. In-text black and white astrological diagrams. Strong hinge.
A fascinating read especially those who are interested not only in the famous Brontė family but follow astrology too.
This copy was acquired from a large and substantial collection of impressive titles relating to the works and history of this famous literary family (See Brontė' section for more titles). A rare and scarce title that would make a fantastic addition to the Brontė' collectors' library.
