Item description from seller

54p nicely got up record of the story of "The Bronze Ford". The Bronze Ford was unveiled in Cameron Square, Fort William on 19th May 2018. It commemorates the ascent of Ben Nevis by an Edinburgh car dealer, Henry Alexander, in 1911. At the centenary in 2011, 75 Model T cars came to Fort William and one was carried by 77 stalwarts to the summit of Ben Nevis, assembled, photographed and disassembled before being carried back to Fort William. The car was then on display in the West Highland Museum where its presence led to the vision of having cast a full size replica of Henry Alexander in his Model T at the spot where he left for Ben Nevis in 1911. This booklet covers some of the background and highlights fund raising and the casting of the Bronze at Powderhall Foundry, Edinburgh. As new. See scans.
