The Buddhist Third Class Junkmail Oracle, Feb. 1969, 4th. last issue. One of Cleveland's first alternative newspapers, the Buddhist Third Class Junkmail Oracle was published by Cleveland poet, publisher and artist d.a. levy from 1967 until his death in 1968. It was later published by Angry City Press, ceasing publication in 1969. This issue: "The Buddhist Third Class Junkmail Oracle (or) The Barking Rabbit" : "A visual artist, and an important figure in the concrete poetry movement, levy was also an activist and mystic who either committed suicide or was murdered at the age of twenty-six in East Cleveland. This occurred after two and a half years of intense media coverage, police harassment and court trials, and just as he was starting to be recognized as one of the most important geniuses of his generation."
