Hardcover, First Edition 1953 Mcbride Publishing 174 pages. Very Good, in a Good+ DJ. Minor shelf/edge wear to tan cloth boards with maroon spine titles - corners sharp. Moderate shelf/edge wear, dust soiling and chipping to original unclipped DJ - now in mylar. No previous owner markings - all pages are clean and unmarked. From the DJ - Described in detail are replica stunt models that will loop and fly inverted, and scale speedsters that exceed a speed of one hundred miles an hour. 12 different models are examined. More than 100 photographs and 24 pages of working drawings. Bell X-1 Whip Controller, Aeronica Sedan, Heinkel 162, Troop Carrying Glider, Northrup Gama, Wellesley, King Cobra, Richthofen Triplane, Navy Goshawk, Model Seaplane, Twin Engine Mustang and Shooting Star. This was the state of the art in 1953. Solid vintage copy in DJ. LOC SSS-03.
