Collated complete. A detailed and comprehensive historical study of the city of Liverpool, with chapters on Liverpool Castle, the tower of Liverpool, town halls, custom house and castle, the Liverpool exchange, paddle steamers, the corn exchange, and more. With reference to the plan and layout of the city at different time periods. Written by Henry S. and Harold E. Young, British authors and publishers from a Liverpool-based bookseller and auction house. With an introduction from John Ramsay Bryce Muir, a British historian, Liberal Party politician, and thinker. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, smart with minor rubbing and bumping to the extremities. The odd small mark to the cloth. Hinges just starting but firm. Internally, firmly bound with pages i to vi loosening. Pages are very bright with scattered spotting throughout and minor age toning to the endpapers. Very Good.
