1st edition, 1972. Book size - c. 8.5 x 6.5 inches, pp. 48, 4 full page illustrations and b&w illustrations in the text, hardback in dustjacket. Book condition - Good plus ; ex-library with one stamp and two small ink inscriptions on the recto of the title page, no inscriptions in the textblock, contents a little dusty with a few marks here and there, replacement front endpaper (very neatly done) and original back endpaper with one small rectangle of pink on the back paste-down, inner hinges intact and binding firm ; publisher's blue cloth with colour illustration and title in white on the front , title in white on the spine ; slight wear at the boards' front corners, boards' edges a little rubbed but sound, back very clean and back hinge very sound, spine complete with ends a bit rubbed and creased but not split, spine not faded, front hinge sound and front clean. Dustjacket - Good plus; light wear at the front corners, minor creasing of edges, back clean with slight surface rubbing, spine complete and not faded with ends showing wear and creasing, front clean ; dj. now in clear, removable protective cover.
