np (36pp), 36 b&w illustrations. In a protective clear acetate dustwrapper. This is the austerely designed artist's book cum exhibition catalogue that photographically documents noted minimalist sculptor Carl Andre's February 11th through March 11th 1973 Portland Center for the Visual Arts installation entitled "144 Blocks and Stones" that was dedicated to his colleague, the late Robert Smithson. A most presentable example of the uncommon first edition with the publisher's loose vellum title page laid in, as issued, showing some mild overall handling and light rubbing with traces of a few water droplets to the covers. It has been priced accordingly. Seller Inventory # 025996
