Prima edizione. Cm,24,7x16. Pg.(4), 162. Coperta muta con rinforzo cartaceo al dorso. Antichi appunti manoscritti di storia scaligera all'occhiello ed alcune chiose manoscritte d'epoca nel testo. Tre tavole litografiche fuori testo in grande formato, raffiguranti particolari dell'arca di Cangrande. Giovanni Girolamo Orti Manara (Verona, 1803-1858), fu erudito, bibliografo e grande raccoglitore di testi epigrafici. Nel 1838 divenne Podestà di Verona nel 1838, carica che mantenne per dodici anni. La presente costituisce una delle principali biografie del condottiero scaligero (Verona, 1291 ? 1329). 400 gr.
