Octavo (23.25cm); black cloth, with titles stamped in silver on spine; dustjacket; [viii],131,[5]pp; illus. Boldly signed by Andy Warhol vertically in black marker across the right edge of the front panel. Fine in a price-clipped, else Fine dustjacket. Attractive collaborative work between Malanga and Warhol, stemming from their Death and Disaster series, including a substantial collection of poems both inspired by and dedicated to various Factory figures, and reproducing six of Warhol's Death paintings, along with a portrait of the two men at a 1966 Allen Ginsberg reading. The volume was issued simultaneously in cloth (400 copies, unsigned) and wrappers (600 copies), with a "deluxe issue" of 75 hardcover copies numbered and signed by Malanga. This is the only copy we've seen signed by Warhol. Seller Inventory # 7025
