A well-written biography of the famous Nez Perce chief, with much detail regarding the Nez Perce War. Light bumps to the corners, else a near fine copy. The scarce dust jacket shows some light rubbing and light wear to top edge. Laid-in is a 6 page pamphlet entitled Big Hole Battlefield National Monument, issued by the U.S. Department of Interior in 1952, and prepared for visitors to this significant battlefield.
