First Printing, a Review Copy with the publisher's slip laid in. Slim octavo; full maroon cloth, with titling and rule stamped in gilt on spine and covers; publisher's brick red paper-covered slipcase, with pictorial title label applied to left side; 41pp, [2]. Fine in a Fine slipcase, with a few pinpoint soiled spots at the upper edge of the photographic title label. The third of Capote's well-loved holiday stories, portions of which first appeared in Ladies' Home Journal. A common book, but seldom-seen as a review copy.
