Charles a Leuschner was a member of the 6th Texas Infantry regiment. He was present at Arkansas Post , Chickamauga , Missionary Ridge , the Atlanta Campaign and Franklin . He also was a prisoner at Camp Douglas in Illinois . This diary was discovered in 1987 in the UNITED DAUGHTERS OF THE CONFEDERACY chapter in Victoria Texas .
