1962 FIRST PRINTING of FIRST EDITION. Original stiff green paperback covers with sewn binding as issued. The 1962 first edition of this book is very uncommon. Only 600 copies were produced: 400 paperback copies and 200 deluxe hardcover copies. The book has clean covers, slight fading to edges of covers, fading to spine, rubbing to extreme ends of spine, no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, slight bump mark lower inside corner of pages (not bad), usual slight tanning to page paper, solid binding. The book measures 217mm tall x 140mm and has 80 pages, 11 b/w photos, 5 maps, index, list of Clyde's first ascents in the Sierra Nevada. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.
