FIRST PRINTING of the First Edition. A hard-hitting expose of how the media giant CNN has sometimes done well in reporting on the Gulf War, but usually has missed the most important stories, how it frequently 'scooped' other networks but also allowed itself to be used as a propaganda mouthpiece for Iraq, how it misled the viewing public on various events and issues, revealing how media and the military cohabit, how analysts are used and misquoted, much more. Hardcover with dust jacket, contains glossy illustrations, appendices, indexed, 223pp. A very nice copy, the jacket neatly encased in an acid-free Brodart plastic protector. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
