First Edition. Tall 8vo. yellow cloth hardback with decorative gilt titles to spine and upper board. Illustrated endpapers. 208pp., illustrated in b/w, one and two colours with great contemporary graphic design by F. H.K. Henrion. Articles by Kingsley Amis, Angus Wilson, Iris Murdoch, James Laver and Laurie Lee among others. A clean copy with no markings or inscriptions. Slight discolouration to cloth spine and dulling to gilt titles. A Very Good Copy.
