Albert Londe, 1858 - 1917, was an influential French photographer and medical researcher. He was the director of photography at the Salp�tri�re Hospital in Paris and worked with Jean-Martin Charcot photographing the muscular movements of the patients, some of his earliest studies of movement. His interest in instantaneous photography led him to design a twelve lens camera, coupled with his investigations in artificial lighting sources, which allowed for short duration chronophotographs on a single glass plate. Londe was also a chemist, mechanic, criminologist, a pioneer radiologist, and a member of the Soci�t� Fran�aise de Photographie. Roosens and Salu No. 6197. OCLC fails to locate this title.
