Confederation, Atlanta, Georgia. 28 August to 01 September, 1986. A 149-page limpback programme with samples of other convention literature. The limpback has sharp, immaculate illustrated wrappers and is in outstanding condition. Confederation was much fun and brings back memories of my good friends Mark Stevens, owner of the then best (and only) specialist new sf and crime bookstore in Atlanta (The Science Fiction & Mystery Bookshop on N. Highland) and of my good friend, the late Grover de Luca, who had a store (Best Condition Books) in the very large Oxford bookshop based at the Battle Shopping Centre on Peachtree Avenue (between Buckhead and the Arts Centre) and who specialized in upmarket out of print merchandise and art.
