Sole edition. Med. 8vo c. 9.25 x 6 inches, pp. 61 + 3 colour lithograph plates, half leather, hardback, text entirely in French. Book condition - near VG, contents clean, foxing of flyleaves but diminishing rapidly in text block so that nearly all clear, ex-library of the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland, with stamps on recto of title pages and numbers in pencil on verso, no stamps on plates, binding firm ; brown leather (calf) spine and corners with gilt title on spine and marbled paper on boards, some rubbing of corners and corner leather marked, back is clean with paper in good condition, spine leather somewhat marked (see photos), spine complete with rubbing at either end, gilt is complete and though a bit dulled is still very clear , front paper in good condition, front hinge just beginning to split at top but board very secure. (Binders ticket inside front board shows the binder was Caldwell of Frederick Street, Dublin). A good copy of a rare book (at the time of listing, no other copies on sale found on the web).
