About the Author: Sean Baker is a co-founder and director of IONA Technologies, where he is responsible for the customer-facing technical departments and specific technical directions such as database integration. Prior to establishing IONA, Sean held a tenured post in the Department of Computer Science at Trinity College, Dublin where he helped form the Distributed Systems Group.
