Exceedingly rare and potentially fragile pamphlets joint edited by Daisetz Teitaro Suzuki and R. H. Blyth just after the war. This publication only lasted for two issues, both offered here. Contains articles by Suzuki, Blyth, and others. WorldCat (OCLC) locates only 2 microfilmed copies in world libraries, none being the original printed issues. Vol. 1 is very good and features 'Zen and Haiku' by R. H. Blyth; 'Mahayana Buddism and the Layman' by Beatrice Lane Suzuki; and 'Tea-Room Meditation' by Daisetz Suzuki. Vol. 2 is good with separations in the spine strip, the leaves age darkened but clean. It features a continuation of the article 'Zen and Haiku' by R. H. Blyth; 'The Fundamentals of the Noh' by Michitaro Shidehara; 'The Swordsman and the Cat' translated by Daisetz Suzuki. See photo.
