Large octavo 10 inches tall, original publisher's dark blue-green cloth with spine lettered in gilt; internally nearly Very Good, clean and unmarked with very light age toning to extreme edges of pages; complete with 31 plates [some folding] as required, some of the folded plates with light browning at outer edges where they protrude from the text block; binding somewhat shaken, final page 153 reinforced with tape at inner joint; extensive pencil notes on 2 rear blanks; spine has been repaired with black cloth tape with original gilt title laid over new spine, covers now firmly attached; overall nearly Very Good condition.
