Here is a unique method for gaining competence in the art of calligraphy. The author shows how to master the four basic scripts from which all western scripts are derived- uncial, round hand, black letter, and italic. The method employed uses large movements to fix the required strokes in the mind, since it is easy to see the subtitles and mechanics of a large letter, and these are scaled down as skill is acquired. A clean very presentable copy.
