In searching for countryside gems, I often come across books wholly unrelated to my specialism and am always looking for great homes for these books. We are based in the Derbyshire Peak District and can source specialist books from this area. We also specialise in finding special books for gifts. So, if he special person in your life, or someone you would like to say thank you, has a particular interest and you have a budget, we can find a special book that means something to them. If they love birds and live in Kent, we will find something for you. If their passion is dairy cows, then we can find a book that tells the story of dairy farming in Britain. Working to a budget, we might be able to source a First Edition 'Origin of Species' (a big budget) or the biography of a pioneer in farming, natural history or field sports (a more modest budget). Because we know about books and are well networked, we can make an individual present special and meaningful.

We will give as accurate a description as we can. We are not specialist antiquarian booksellers, rather we are interested in the subject matter of the books. If a customer is not satisfied, we will return anything they have paid for if a case is made within 14 days of receipt. Any case based on material known to the purchaser (ie in the description on our site) will not be counted.
Shipping Terms
We will pack according to size of shipment, value of book and any instructions from the purchaser. If a product is very valuable we will post registered or by special courier, however most books will be sent by ordinary Royal Mail.
