Published as a project of the Federal Writers' Project, Works Progress Administration (WPA) for the State of Massachusetts. Presumed first edition, first printing (no later printings noted). Black-and-white photo illustrations. Bound in full yellow cloth over boards, stamped with brown lettering, with beige pictorial endpapers.
