The boards are shelf rubbed, edge worn and marked, but remain whole, strong and square, with bright gold gilt to the front and spine. Internally, there is a retailer's sticker on the front pastedown, and the end pages are quite tanned. There are no other markings or inscriptions, and the pages within are crisp, clean and complete.
