1990 FIRST EDITION. Original glossy white paperback with green lettering front and rear, b/w illustration front. The book is in excellent condition with clean covers, no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, solid binding, no foxing, complete, probably never used. The book measures 178mm tall x 111mm and has 125 pages, several b/w photos (mostly historical showing early climbers on routes), many b/w sketches of cliffs with routes indicated, chapter on bouldering and boulder problems, index. Rock climbing guide to Washington D.C. area with emphasis on the Carderock area. Includes lots on the historical development of climbing in the area starting in the 1920s. PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL ITEM BEING OFFERED.
