White pictorial card cover stock; square 12mo; up (13pp); illustrated with b/w photos and drawings. A brochure issued by the State of Maine proclaiming August 15, 1970 as Carrie Gertrude Stevens Day. Contains a short biographical sketch of Stevens, inventor of the Gray Ghost streamer plus numerous other successful patterns. This copy in fine, collectible condition. Since the publication of Hilyard's wonderful book on Stevens, these brochures have become most difficult to find.

Hunting contains works on African, Asian and North American big game; bird shooting-both upland and waterfowl; plus sporting dogs.
