Brown cloth binding, ruled on the covers, with gilt titling on the spine. Clean text; xi, 256 pages, with a 32-page catalog from Chatto ("November 1886") in the rear. Large, attractive bookplate {"Essays in Socialism"] on the front paste-down; apparently later signature on the Second FEP. Mild bumps and light rubbing, mild soil; front hinge is slightly cracked but holding well. A very attractive copy . First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good (Plus)/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7�" - 9�" tall.

We accept checks and money orders in US Dollars. Credit card orders are accepted through ABE. California residents must add appropriate sales tax (currently 7.25%). Items are returnable for any reason within ten days of receipt (please email or call first before returning item).

Due to the recent turmoil in postal rates (particularly for International orders)shipping costs may need to be assessed on an individual basis. It is our policy to ship at the exact cost.
