The Cat: Being a Collection of Endearments and Invectives Lavished by Many Writers upon an Animal Much Loved and Much Abhorred

The 1912 1st edition, in the uncommon pictorial dustjacket. A very presentable copy. Solid and VG to VG+ (offsetting at the endsheets) in a crisp, VG to VG+ example of th fragile dustjacket, with one small closed tear --and very light wear-- along the top-edges, and mild chipping at the spine ends and light wear along the spine itself. 12mo, nicely illustrated throughout in black-and-white by Elisabeth F. Bonsall. An attractive, well-preserved copy. Part of the publisher's "Our Friends, the Beasts" series.
