The First Edition, first impression was 1958, this is the 2nd impression (stated) and has no publishing date but does have a gift inscription dated 1959. So this was either published the same year or a year after the first printing. Hutchinson publishers were later taken over by Random House. Hardback with matt boards, no jacket. Boards are marked, rubbed and chipped. There is sellotape along the spine. Previous owner's details to ffep, and gift inscription to verso dated 1959. Pages have some foxing spots.
