True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (18s). Translated from the German by Ralph Manheim. Jacket has minor patchy edge/shelf wear, a few small marks, patchy browning (including to spine), the odd minor crease/rub to edges, a couple of very small (approx. 5mms) tears, minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, minor pushing/bumping to corners (which has resulted in tiny loss in a couple of places) and the odd spot of foxing. Boards are near fine (having been well protected by the jacket) with a hint of pushing to corners and very minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Neat gift inscription and date in pen to front end-paper. Pages little tanned. Odd small mark/spots of foxing to top edge of pages. Very occasional small mark to pages. No other faults. A nice copy. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.
