British edition, fifth printing, 1960 (first printing was 1951). No jacket. Blue boards with silver lettering to spine are good with a few marks, fading/browning to spine, a little other patchy fading, minor pushing/bumping to corners, the odd minor bump/rub to edges and a little wear (pushing/rubbing/bumping/slight fraying to the cloth) to head/tail of spine. Minor spine lean. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Small bookseller's label inside front board. Pages bit tanned. Odd small mark/scratch/spot of foxing to page edges, tops and bottoms. Odd small crease to a few pages. Very occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages. No other faults.
