This first edition re-printed in October 1951 three months after the initial publication in July 1951. Dark blue boards with gilt lettering on spine. No jacket. A bit browned throughout. No major shelfware or corner bumping and the text block firm. A very good overall copy at present in Booksellers's plastic. Inscription of Baronesss Maie Casey on front free end paper. She was an Australian pioneer aviator, poet, biographer and artist married to Lord Casey who was the Australian Governor General from 1965 to 1969 and a former ambassador to the US. Free postage within Australia of this good association copy.
