Page surfaces clean, with very few library marginalia or marks. Pages of one 32-page section is more age-toned than the others, different paper used in those pamphlets. The book remains square and straight, firm in its binding, no pages loose, torn, or missing. Light scuffing at board edges and corners, with back fore-corner having pin-size hole. Both spine ends chipped, with pull-tears from shelf use, spine is sun-darkened. Perhaps some soiling to board surfaces, but this may also be various fadings and/or rubbings. back has remnant of large sticker near top. The blank front page has been removed, and there is a rectangular piece cut from the top of the title page. Certainly not without its defects, but still sound and solid, complete and intact, and quite rare in any condition.
