London. Elek Books Ltd. 1959. First Printing. No edition remarks. Hard Cover. Medium 8vo�9�" x 6 �[24cm x 15cm] 147 ps. Red boards with gilt titles to the spine. Clean unmarked contents except for tiny faint stamp 'Dec 1959' on the front free endpaper. Delightful black and white illustrations by Maurice Wilson throughout the text. Beautiful vivid and fresh dust wrapper which is clipped and a little soiled to the rear panel. There is a repaired closed tear at the head of the spine and there is some very light rubbing at spine ends. Overall book is near fine and jacket is very good plus. A humorous memoir about the Toveys and their disruptive cats.
