A nice copy of the rare first edition of British ghost hunter Robert Hopkins' final book, a mix of 'factual' and fictional ghost stories. Very rare in that the original unclipped DJ is present, albeit with a few missing segments. Pages are very good: largely just natural ageing present and with no foxing. A little tanning possibly, a single 'X' on front FEP in biro, and four small ink(?) marks on inner flap and FEP (see photo). Generally though pages are in much better condition than the norm for this edition. Binding is tight. Having the DJ present at all is exceedingly unusual for the first edition, and even more so given that this is unclipped. It does have flaws: a few missing segments (though none that remotely make it liable to split or divide) and these are shown in the photos. A blank paper backdrop has been used to 'fill in' for these segments and is removable as desired. Probably 90% of the DJ is present and is generally good with a few creases etc. Rear flap contains adverts for related books from the publisher.
