Small 1" stain to front cover, on Bukowski's forehead. The first leaf is detached. Spine glue brittle, this is one of those books from the era of imperfect "perfect bindings", where the spine glue eventually becomes brittle. This issue has five poems by the American poet Charles Bukowski. The five Bukowski poems are titled: The Hippies and the Killer; down by the sea, the beautiful sea; A Hot Tip On The Future; Ya Know, Beethoven Conducted His Last Symphony While Almost Totally Deaf; down the silver river with one shoe off. The front cover is a photographic portrait illustration of Bukowski. Bukowski's poems are preceded by a four page introduction to Bukowski's poetry by G. J. Melling.
