Near fine first Canadian printing. Binding tight with slight lean and vertical reading crease to spine. Pages clean and unmarked. No tears of any kind. Scarce Canadian first printing of Laymon's first book, published in Canada in 1987, seven years after its initial US publication, hence the mention on the cover of this edition that Laymon is also the author of 1986's The Beast House.
