True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (18s). Translated by Robert Westhoff. Jacket has faults - namely minor patchy edge/shelf wear, a few marks, a little patchy browning (including to spine), a few very small (approx. 3mms) tears, little creasing/rubbing to edges, little pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, the odd spot of foxing, little pushing/bumping to corners (which has resulted in tiny loss), browning/minor foxing/odd small mark to reverse (white side) and is in only good condition. Boards are near fine (having been well protected by the jacket) with a hint of pushing to corners and very minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. End-papers tanned. Top of pages have the odd small mark/minor foxing. Odd small mark/spot of foxing to page edges and bottoms. Pages little tanned.
