Wilson McCandless Judge of the District Court.With the Friendly Regards and Cherished Recollections of The Author", dated Cincinnati, Oct. 1872; inscribed page is cut closely at foredge with some loss of text. McCandless was a long-time judge in Pittsburgh, and the city of McCandless, PA is named for him.
